I just want to say that I loved this podcast of "Mary in Devotion" I am a Mexican/American man and I grew up listening to the story of the Virgen of Guadalupe, and I am lucky enough to have gone to Mexico to visit "Tepeyac" but when I heard Fr. Larry Richards talk about her i couldnt stop the tears from coming (even though I was at work and got some funny looks). Just to hear it explained in that special way that the Fr. has to talk, filled me again with that love I have for Our Mother. I thank Our Lord Jesus Christ that he has blessed the Fr. with the gift of speach. A little more than a year ago I Prayed to the Virgen of Guadalupe to help me find work (I spent a year prior looking for work) and I promised her that if she helped me I would write and record a c.d. for her (Im in a Catholic spanish rock band). That was a Sunday and the following Thursday I started my Job at Frito-Lay. Not only did she bless me with a job but she blessed me with 2 jobs in a time when many people dont even have one. And I am glad to say i already wrote 2 songs and continue writing so i can finish that c.d. for her.
