I really enjoyed "Answer the Call". I have been thinking of joining some other men in front of an abortion clinic here in Baton Rouge,Louisiana. I am now ready to join them. God bless you and your work. You remind me of my 39 year old son, Father Jason Labbe'. He was ordained June 6th of 2001 after spending 5 years in Rome. One of my aunts said "Now thats a Man" a common expression in cajun country. Later she said "Now thats a Priest".
Were you educated by the Christian Brothers? "Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God" reminds me of brother Alfred Bertrand, as he began prayer every morning before class began.

I was very moved by Fr. Rick Wendell story. I had just had recorded my number 202 podcast which was 'PRAYER AT THE HOUR OF MERCY". Then I hit your link that I have on my site and listened to part 2 of Fr Rick story. Then I was amazed how he prayed the same prayer in his story. I guess I should never be amazed when it comes to God.

How thrilled I am to know that Mr. Dowd has come home to Rome. I discovered Mr. Dowd accidently through one of his books, Joy in the Journey. I thoroughly enjoyed the book until I got to the end where one of the chapters discussed Jesus' brothers and sisters. I felt sad that he had so much right to have such basic theology confused. It is with much excitement that I welcome him into the one true apostolic Church. The Church needs more sons like him. Welcome home, Guy!
